A man in Ellis County, Texas, has gone viral after purchasing a guitar inspired by Taylor Swift for $4,000 at an auction, only to destroy it shortly after.

In a video shared by TMZ, the man, who has white hair, is seen taking the guitar and smashing it with a hammer as the crowd cheers him on. Just as he seemed poised to smash it on the ground, the auction host intervened to stop him.

The annual Ellis County WildGame Dinner supports a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting youth agricultural education in the area, according to their website. Taylor Swift has not yet publicly addressed the incident, and Billboard has reached out to her team for a response.

Meanwhile, Swift is busy preparing for the final shows of her record-breaking Eras Tour, which concludes on November 3 with three performances at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. After that, she will wrap up her tour with three shows at BC Place in Vancouver from December 6-8.
